Audrey Cathleen Cox, 85, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. Service: 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 5, 2017, Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, Indiana, Interment: Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh, Indiana, Visitation: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 5, 2017, Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, Indiana. Audrey was born in Mannsville, Kentucky to Arlis and Ada Cox. She was raised on a farm in Mannsville, Kentucky. She married George Ray Cox and together they raised their three children in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was dedicated to her family and a very loving mom. She taught her children Christian values and putting family values first. Eating dinner as a family was very important to her. She had a Christian heart. They moved to Sarasota, Florida after George’s retirement and lived there from 1990 to 2015, where they enjoyed the sunshine and beaches. The final two years of her life she lived in Granbury. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Ray Cox, daughter Audrey Marlene Cook, brother, Gerald Cox , sister, Mary Hilda Cox, brother-in-laws, Albert “Dude” Cox, Tom Baird and Sam Cox. Audrey is survived by her children: George Douglas Cox and Mary Kathleen Wyant and husband Robert, grandchildren: Gregory Cook and Andy Cook, sister Frances Pauline Baird, sister-in-laws Nina Cox and Myrtle Cox and many loved nieces and nephews.
