Mary Helen Wiser M-H-7-1

Mary Helen Wiser, 77 of Edinburgh, passed January 28, 2018 at Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Community in Franklin. She was born April 25, 1940 in Gravel Switch, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Harry and Florence (Whittman) Dyer. She married William “Pete” Wiser. She is survived by sons, Sam (Phyllis) Wiser of Franklin and Billy (Angel) Wiser of Edinburgh, daughters, Marilyn (Mark) Lawler of Greenwood and Debbie Buck of Edinburgh; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Willard Dyer of Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a granddaughter, brothers, Harry Lee Dyer, Jake Dyer, and Frankie Dyer, and a sister, Rosa Perkins. She was a member of the Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. She retired from Lear Corporation in Edinburgh after 29 years of service. She loved playing with her grandchildren and her cats. She enjoyed watching scary movies, working in the yard, especially her flowers, and doing arts and crafts. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 by Reverends Lewis Burton and Justin Surface at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
