Mary L. Britton Badger-B-131-2

Mary L. Britton, 63, of Edinburgh, died at 7:08 p.m. September 3, 2018, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mary was born May 13, 1955, in Madison, the daughter of Charles Leonard and Sarah E. Griffith Brooks. She married Willard Britton February 3, 1971. She was previously employed at Lear Corporation and E.C.A. and was a charter member of Who So Ever Will Church. She enjoyed quilting, photography, camping and boating. Mary was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018, at Who So Ever Will Church with the Revs. Lewis Burton and Ricky Burton officiating. Calling will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Survivors include her husband, Willard Britton; sons, Jason (Crystal) Britton and John (Holly) Britton, both of Edinburgh; sisters, Carolyn (Kenneth) Snow of Houstonville, Kentucky, Patty Ridge of Franklin and Bonnie (John) Mayer of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Tayler (Toby) Clendenen, Dillon Britton, Paige Britton and Cloee Britton; great-grandchild, Jadelynn Clendenen; many nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Jerlean Long and family. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Leonard Brooks and mother, Sarah E. Cunningham; and brothers, Leon Brooks and Butchie Brooks.
