Terry Wayne Kellams M-D-48-4

Terry Wayne Kellams, 62, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at his residence in Edinburgh. He was born Feb. 20, 1950, in Columbus to the late Albert Wayne and Jessie (Lyons) Kellams. He married Betty (Howard) Kel­lams. She survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Kylei (Nathan) Kellams-Poff of Greenwood, Ashlei Kellams, Kim Caldwell and Anita (Shane) Hancock, all of Edinburgh; and five grandchildren, Elijah and Braxton Poff, David Earles, and Callie and Chloe Hancock. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kendra Leann Kellams; brother, Steve Kellams; and nephew, Tony Coatworth. He was a former commander of the Edinburgh Sons of the American Legion and was a member of Edinburgh Masonic Lodge 100 and Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite. He was a retired employee of the town of Edinburgh. He was an avid sports fan, especially IU basketball and Colts and Notre Dame football. He enjoyed reading, hunting and spending time at his cabin. The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a graveside service at 1 p.m. Friday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh, with a masonic service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Johnson County, 3827 N.
