Billy E. Harmon, 61, of Edinburgh, passed away July 4, 2014, at his residence. Born October 6, 1952, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, he was the son of Edward "Eddie Joe" Harmon and Ida Pearl (Rooks) Bryant of Edinburgh. He married Charlotte (Walker) Harmon August 20, 1971. He is survived by sons,  William "Bill" (Mary) Harmon of McCordsville, Indiana, and Eddie Dale (Bonnie) Harmom of North Vernon, Indiana; brothers, Richie Bryant of Pendleton, Indiana, and Michael (Elizabeth) Harmon of Edinburgh; a stepbrother, Buddy (Anita) Littlejohn of Columbus; stepsisters, Diane (Richard) Kanouse of Connersville, Indiana, and Cathy (Shawn) Pass of Nineveh. He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Ronald Bryant; brothers, Jeffery Harmon and Ronnie Harmon; and a sister, Patricia J. Richardson. A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he attended Whosoever Will Community Church in Edinburgh. He was formerly employed as a truck driver at Franklin Power and was a former member of the Double Y Saddle Club. He volunteered at the USO at Camp Atterbury and enjoyed shooting pool and being a Snowbird. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9 at Whosoever Will Community Church in Edinburgh with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
