TITLE VI OF THE 1964 CIVIL RIGHTS ACT

“No person in the United States shall on the basis of sex, race, national origin, creed, age, marital status, or disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”

The Town of Edinburgh Indiana assures that individuals will not be discriminated against because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, marital status, disability, or veteran status. Any person(s) or organization(s) that believe they may have been a victim of discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, marital status, disability, or veteran status may file a complaint with the Town of Edinburgh Indiana Title VI Coordinator.
