William “Bill” Paul Hasch, M-C-44-8

William “Bill” Paul Hasch, age 89, entered into heaven on July 6, 2019 with family at his side, at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, CA.  Bill was born to Sherman and Thelma Hasch on May 25, 1930 in Edinburgh, IN and lived most of his life in the surrounding areas.  Bill was a veteran of the US Navy and served honorably during the Korean War.  Following the war, Bill settled back in Edinburgh, IN and started his life-long career as a tool and die maker.  After his retirement, Bill moved to California to spend his days surrounded by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill is survived by his children, Steven Hasch, Diane Arns (Jack), Kay August, Pam Harris (Jim), Roy Hedeen (Tree), Chris Hedeen (Terrie), and Amy Wheatley (Bob); along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held to honor Bill Hasch on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Rest Haven Cemetery, 650 S. Eisenhower Drive, in Edinburgh, IN with military honors conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard.   All family and friends of Bill Hasch are invited to share in this celebration.  Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. is handling the arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.swartzmortuary.com.
