Ronald J. Mace, 80 of Franklin, Indiana passed away September 13, 2019 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born February 20, 1939 in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of William J. and Martha (West) Mace. He married Wanda (Hadley) Mace on April 29, 1962 and she preceded him in death on May 5, 2003. He later married Sandy (McClain) Mace on February 2, 2007 and she survives. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Lori A. (Curtis) Mason of Edinburgh, Indiana; son, Timothy D. (Elizabeth) Mace of Seymour, Indiana; step-sons, Richard Morris of Franklin, Indiana; David (Barbara Hill) Morris of Edinburgh, Indiana; Kevin Morris of Edinburgh, Indiana; step-daughter, Michelle (Wes) Stevens of Martinsville, Indiana; eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; brothers, Darrel Mace and William Mace; grandson, William Robert Mace; and step-daughter, Melissa Burton. Ronnie was a 1957 graduate of Columbus High School, Columbus, Indiana. He attended Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. He served in the US Army from 1957 to 1961. He retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1995 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and was an avid story teller to his grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 by Reverend Lewis Burton at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church. Calling will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the church and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
