Earl Craig Kime, 90 of Franklin, IN, formerly of Edinburgh, IN passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community. He was born October 26, 1929 in Edinburgh, IN to Russel and Roxie (Heishman) Kime.

He married Betty (Hemphill) Kime on August 5, 1950, she preceded him in death on July 14, 2004.

He was a graduate of the School of Horology in Peoria, IL as a watchmaker. He owned and operated Kime’s Men Shop in Edinburgh, IN for twenty five years retiring in 1995. He previously had worked for L.S. Ayers and Company in Indianapolis.

He had served as a board member of the Edinburgh Community Schools, Edinburgh Masonic Lodge #100 where he had served as Master of the lodge, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine and the Jaycees.

Survivors include his son Kip Kime of Indianapolis, IN and nieces Beverly Parker of Columbus, In, Barbara Parker of Tucson, AZ, great nephews Bruce Parker of Columbus, IN, Brent Parker of Taylorsville, IN and Brian Parker of Hawaii, great nieces Joann Jefferson of Florida, Debra Jefferson of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Ralph Kime and sister Rose Lee Kime.

Services will be private. Inurnment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 U.S. 31 South (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
