Ruth Maxine Adair

Ruth Maxine Adair, 90 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away October 16, 2020 at Our Hospital of South Central Indiana In-Patient Facility in Columbus, Indiana. She was born August 17, 1930 in Jackson County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Alva and Jesse Pearl (Wall) Branaman. She married Gerald Verlin Adair on November 9, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2018.She is survived by daughters, Virginia Gadberry and Loretta (Randy) Denton, son, Allen (Pam) Adair, eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren with one on the way, three great-great-grandchildren with one on the way, brothers, Bob (Lucille) Branaman and Dan (Carol) Branaman, and sisters, Annie (Jerry) Kelp and Betty (Bob) Godwin.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Kathie Lynne Adair, sisters, Ethel Roberts, Alberta May Branaman, and Lois Smith, and son-in-law, Jimmie Dale Gadberry.Ruth was a member of the Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. She enjoyed attending church, cooking, gospel music, traveling, and watching Laramie.She was loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 19, 2020 by Reverends Lewis Burton and Terry England at 1:00 PM at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church. Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday and from 11:00 AM until time of service Monday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.Arrangements made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana.
