Hugh Wayne Pedigo

Hugh Wayne Pedigo, 73, resident of Franklin, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Franklin, Indiana. Wayne was born on July 1st, 1947 to the late Herman Pedigo and Amie (Rush) Pedigo in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee.Wayne owned and operated Wayne's 24 Hour Truck Service for many years. Wayne enjoyed hard work and always took great pride in being able to provide for his family. He could often be found casting a line at his favorite local fishing spots in his spare time. He also loved to hunt and be active outdoors. Wayne treasured his relationship with his family, and cherished every minute spent with them. Wayne adored his dog, Sissy and found great delight in being in her presence. He leaves behind warm memories and stories his loved ones will treasure forever.Wayne is survived by his two children; Stacee (Peggy) Pedigo, of Columbus, Indiana and Amy (Steven Smith) Pedigo, of Edinburgh, Indiana; his two sisters, Fay Fivecoat, of Columbus, Indiana and Brenda (John) Pedigo-Kempton, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his brother, James (Sue) Pedigo, of Columbus, Indiana; and his six grandchildren, Thomas Sheckles, Emily Holwadel, Cailyn Pedigo, Kasadee Pedigo, and Ethan Pedigo and his two great-grandchildren, Shayla Case and Ava Holwadel.Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers, Floyd Pedigo and Charles Pedigo; his sister, Phyllis Gray, and his son, Jay Jay PedigoA funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Franklin Chapel with visitation at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral service.Per the Indiana State Governor, Eric Holcomb, and the Indiana State Department of Health's mandate, social distancing regulations are required with guests maintaining a minimum of 6 feet apart from one another. Masks are mandatory and are to be worn at all times.
