Fayette (Dick) Cowan M-E-70-3

Fayette (Dick) Cowan 92, of Edinburgh, died at 2pm on Friday, May 13^th, 2022, at Brown County Health and Living. Mr. Cowan retired from Boing Engineering Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1992. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the American Legion Post 233 in Edinburgh, and a longtime Country/Gospel Musician.  Volunteering his talents in later years at Churches and Nursing Homes. He enjoyed fishing with his grandkids. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Atterbury Sportsman Club/Wounded Hero Hunt 3100 Smith Road, Nashville IN  47448.   Memorial Service on Saturday May 21^st, 2022, at 1pm, Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church.  905 South Main Street, Edinburgh, IN 46124.Born in Adair County, KY August 20^th, 1929.  Mr. Cowan was the Son of Otis Cowan and Ollie M Corbin Cowan.  He married Elsie L. Jarvis on October 2^nd, 1952.  She preceded him in death July 19, 2007.Mr. Cowan is survived by his son, David Allen Cowan (Sherri Spiker-Cowan).  Brother Clifford Cowan Grandson Corey O’Ryan Cowan and Granddaughter Jacqueline Ola Cowan, as well as many Nieces and Nephews. Fayette Cowan was preceded in death by Brothers, James, Donald and Howard Cowan as well as Sisters Velma Cowan Burton and Delia Cowan Kirkland.
