Job Posting - Electric Department - Apprentice Lineworker

Town of Edinburgh Municipal Power and Light currently has an opening for an Apprentice Lineworker. The position requires the employee to complete a 4 Year Apprentice Program and perform the duties and responsibilities of a Groundsman. Working as part of a team, the individual will use technical, analytical and interpersonal skills and electrical knowledge to deliver reliable electric service to Edinburgh Municipal Power and Light Department customers.

Qualifications required: A high school education or equivalent is required. Strong verbal communication skills are necessary in order to deal with a wide range of personalities both inside and outside the organization. A valid Indiana driver’s license and CDL are required.
