Barbara Goldsmith, 75, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away on April 3, 2026, at her residence. She was born December 4, 1950, in Salem, Indiana and is the daughter of Arnold Haste and Cora (Potts) Lay. Barbara was married to Gilbert Goldsmith for 40 years and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2025.Barbara is survived by her daughter, Janet (Carson) Cooper of Wardensville, West Virginia; stepson, Jeffrey (Connie) Goldsmith of Wardensville, West Virginia; stepdaughter, Tisha (Christopher) McDonald of Kentucky; sister, Toni Sneed of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Dustin (Kaleigh) Harmon, Chelsea Porter, Cierra (Taylor) Harmon, Carly (Lee) Deaver, Cory (MJ) Cooper, Tonya Ford, Tashina Garrett, Jessica Rice, Lindsey, Goldsmith, Rebecca Riffey, Jeffrey Goldsmith, Christopher Goldsmith, Jacob Goldsmith, Bryson Cooper, Elizabeth Cooper and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Celesta Harmon; stepson, Roy Goldsmith; brother, Rodger Dale Haste and her sister, Nancy Killian. Barbara was a member of Revival Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Clifford, Indiana. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, and spending time with her family. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM by Reverend Eli Johnson on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Revival Full Gospel Tabernacle Church 4474 E. 550 N. Clifford, Indiana 47226. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana. Arrangement made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana.
