Donald A. Clark, 90 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away April 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 24, 1928 in Edinburgh, Indiana. He was the son of William D. and Mary K. (Dyke) Clark. He married Jacqueline “Jackie” (Lane) Clark on August 26, 1947 and she preceded him in death on January 23, 2005. He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Corkey) Fitzpatrick of Edinburgh, Indiana, grandchildren, Megan (Justin) Kean of New Whiteland, Indiana, Chuck Fitzpatrick of Greenwood, Indiana, and John (Amanda) Fitzpatrick of Kennewick, Washington, and great-grandsons, Paxton Kean and Calan Kean. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Maurice Clark, Kenneth Clark, Walter Clark, Merle Clark, and Harlan Clark, and sisters, Lucille Gilbert, Thelma Burton, Martha Davis, and Daisy Odem. Don was a US Navy WWII veteran. He was a member of the National Association of Atomic Veterans, National Association of Fleet Tug Sailors, and a member of the American Legion Post 233 in Edinburgh, Indiana. In 2013 he was on the Honor Flight to Washington, DC and attended their monthly meetings. He retired from the maintenance department at Arvin Industries in Columbus, Indiana after 42 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 by Deacon Russ Woodard at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
