Fenton Don Tungett M-F-125-1

Fenton Don Tungett, 78 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away April 3, 2019 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, Indiana. He was born December 15, 1940 in Bartholomew County, Indiana. He was the son of Othie and Cora (Caldwell) Tungett. He married Alice Burton on December 17, 1960 and she preceded him in death on December 17, 1995. He later married Ladena Denson on February 10, 1998 and she survives. He is survived by his wife, sons, Fenton A. (Sue) Tungett of Shelbyville, Indiana and Mark D. Tungett of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughter, Mary Ann (Travis) Weddle of Edinburgh, Indiana, step-sons, Billy Joe (Christina) Black of Seymour, Indiana, Leroy Black of Columbus, Indiana, and Raymond Dewayne Rooks of French Lick, Indiana, twenty-two grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, and brother, Roy Lee Tungett. Fenton was a Columbus High School graduate. He previously worked at Amos-Hill Veneer in Edinburgh, had his own construction company, and later retired from Wonder Bread Company as a truck driver in 2006. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, camping, water skiing, and was an avid NASCAR fan. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. by Reverends Terry England and David Wallace at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday and from noon until time of service on Monday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
