Charles Lewis “Charlie” Moore, 84 of Franklin passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Brown County Health and Living in Nashville, Indiana. He was born on March 21, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late John W. and Ruth B. (Batton) Moore. He is survived by children, Michael (Julie) Moore of Nashville; Suzy Crews of Seymour; Fredrick (Karen) Moore of Edinburgh; Scott (Vickie) Moore of Greentown and Amy Elizabeth Moore of Franklin; brother, John W. (Wilma Jean) Moore of Franklin; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Charlie was a retired, self-employed Trucking and Heavy Equipment Operator, owning Moore Trucking and Excavating for many years. He was a founding member of the Amity Volunteer Fire Department and was a member for several years. His work was his hobby and he also enjoyed attending old Antique Tractor Shows and Antique Tractor Pulls. Jim Ray will conduct a celebration of Charlie’s life on Tuesday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with burial following at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana. Friends may call on Monday, December 2 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
