Hiring Notice

The Edinburgh Fire Department is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Paid standby Firefighter / EMT (hourly)

Career Firefighter / EMT


Applications are available Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Packets should be picked up and returned to:

Applicants at a minimum should possess Firefighter I / II & EMT or Paramedic Certification

A physical agility and written aptitude test will be scheduled upon receipt and review of the application packet. Applicants will be notified of the time, date and location of the testing phase of the application process. Further information regarding hourly rate of pay and employee benefits will be available at the time of the written and physical agility test. Completed packets should be returned no later than 4 p.m. December 16, 2019
