Fall Festival Stage will be located in the Town Hall parking lot at the corner of Holland and Thompson Streets. Be sure to bring a lawn chair to enjoy the stage events.
The Prince & Princess contest is sponsored by The Edinburgh Lions Club. Registration for this is from August 9 August 25. Registration forms can be picked up from Cathy Hamm at the Edinburgh Wright-Hageman Public Library located at 119 W. Main Cross Street. The Prince & Princess will be crowned on Saturday, September 15 at the Pixy Theatre immediately following the parade.
The Queen Contest is sponsored by Tri-Kappa. Girls between Grades 8 and 12 who live in or near Edinburgh are eligible for the queen contest. The Queen will be crowned on Saturday, September 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Edinburgh High School cafeteria.
A talent show will be held on Thursday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m. at the Fall Festival Stage. Forms can be picked up at the Edinburgh Wright-Hageman Public Library. For more information please contact Kami Ervin at 812-344-6069.
Tickets for rides will be on sale at the Edinburgh Wright-Hageman Public Library and Salin Bank only. No tickets will be sold at the school. Tickets will be $15 and will be on sale September 1-12. Ride tickets will be good on Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The theme for this year's parade is "Fall Festival and begins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15. The parade starts at the Edinburgh High School Football Field and will travel to East Side Elementary School. To register for the parade please contact Julie Cox at 526-6951, after 6 p.m. weekdays.
A Craft Fair will be conducted between the school administrative office and Holy Trinity Catholic Church on September 15th. To rent a booth, contact Nellie or Cindy at Step Back in Time, 526-5409.
The Prom for a Promise Committee will sponsor the baby contest for children up to 3 years old. The baby contest will be held at the Fall Festival Stage. For more information please contact Kami Ervin at 812-344-6069.
Desperation Depot will sponsor a cornhole tournament September 13-14 with proceeds going to Cub Scout Pack 209. For more information please contact Brenda at 812-344-9086.
