WATER MAIN FLUSHING

The Edinburgh Municipal Utilities will be flushing water mains beginningSeptember 17at7:30 AM and continue through October 1, 2012. Customers may experience some discoloration in their water during this operation. If this occurs at your residence or business we suggest that you run a slow stream of cold water until the discoloration disappears. Usually five to ten minutes will take care of the problem. If the discoloration persists please contact the Utility Office at 526-3514 or 526-3517. We strongly suggest that white clothing not be washed during the daytime hours to help reduce the risk of staining. Some other light colors could also be affected. To be safe these colors should be washed after the hour of 5:00 PM until after the flushing program is completed.
