Gary L. Curry, 72 of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. He was born on May 13, 1952, in Franklin, Indiana to Clarence L. and Cora E. (Grindstaff) Curry. He is survived by brother, Jerry L. Curry, sister, Mary F. Carver, brother, James W. Curry, sister, Linda L. Curry, sister, Marjie J. Curry and brother David Curry. He was preceded in passing by his parents and siblings, Robert E. Curry, Lena M. Harris, Carolyn J. Montgomery, Raymond L. Curry, Nancy A. Curry and Randa l D. Curry. Gary attended Whiteland High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from January 1974 to January 1978. He served as a crew chief in Aircraft maintenance during his time in the Air Force. Gary was employed for many years at Plymates in Shelbyville in the Production and Maintenance departments. He was an easy-going person. He loved gardening. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with a Celebration of Gary’s life on Tuesday, April 29th at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
