Mary V. Stevens B-M-115-4

Mary V. Stevens, 88, Bedford, passed away at 7:27 p.m. on Thursday at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford. She was born in Franklin, Kentucky, on Dec. 3, 1926. Mary married the Rev. James L. Stevens Jr. on Sept. 23, 1949, in Bedford, and he preceded her in death on March 11, 1997. Mary was a homemaker and member of the Bedford Baptist Temple. She is survived by one son, Jeff Stevens of Vincennes, three grandchildren, one step grandchild Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Gladys Stevens; and brother, Ray Eldridge. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Bedford Baptist Temple with Brother Lyman Taylor officiating. Private burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Sunday at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford.
