Elberta Greathouse Brewer, 89, of Indianapolis, formerly of Edinburgh, died on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Indianapolis. She is survived by her children, Deborah K. Brewer of Indianapolis, Ernie Brewer of Tampa, Florida and Larry Brewer of Mesilla, New Mexico; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jean Colford. She was preceded in death by her sons, James Brewer and Terry Brewer; and two brothers, Claude and Dean Greathouse. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Edinburgh Apostolic Church at 701 South Main Street in Edinburgh with the Rev. Mark Myers and Darren Burton officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of funeral on Tuesday.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
