Nellie Marie Caldwell, 88, of Columbus, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope. M rs. Caldwell was retired from Columbus Regional Hospital . She was a member of Faith Chapel Church and loved spending time with her family and friends. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with the Rev. David Bragg officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of South Central Indiana or Hawcreek-Flat Rock Endowment Fund. Caldwell. He preceded her in death in 2005. Survivors include children, Willie Ray (Mary) Caldwell of North Vernon, Katherine Lucille (Donald) Bailey of Columbus and Joyce (Pete) Sessions of Westport; a brother, Henry Tungett of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and nine great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, one brother and a great-grandson.
