Ralph B. Cowan, 63, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was a resident of Columbus. Survivors include three sons, Jeremy (Julie) and Troy (Holly) Cowan, both of Hope, and Russell (Tanya) Growe of Columbus; a stepson, Travis (Rae) Blair of North Vernon; two brothers, Jerry and Donald Cowan, both of Edinburgh; a sister, Helen Sallee of Edinburgh; and 17 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Eulis, Junior and Earl Cowan; and a sister, Loedda M. Price. The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Who So Ever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Drive, Edinburgh. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
