Clifford D. Coy, 93, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. He was a resident of Franklin and a former resident of Edinburgh. Survivors include three children, Jerry (Ann) Coy of Knoxville, Tenn., Judy (Ron) Miller of Nineveh and Jane (Lenny) Wilkerson of Trafalgar; three siblings, Neal (Ruth) Coy of Taylorsville, Dennis Coy of Edinburgh and Etheleen Voris of Franklin; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lora and Mina (McKee) Coy; and three siblings, Hansel Coy, Mercedes Park and Carmen Freese. Charles K. Stanley will conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Military graveside rites will be conducted at Edinburgh American Legion Post 233. Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh is handling arrangements.
