Robbie Jean (Sawyer) Garner, 75, died Friday, July 9, 2010, at the Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus. She was a resident of Columbus and a former resident of Edinburgh. Survivors include two sons, Larry Garner of Edinburgh and Joseph Garner of Bedford; one daughter, Christine Burton of Columbus; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Roberta Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Garner; her parents, Robert and Mable (Early) Sawyer; and a grandson, Jason Garner. The Rev. Mark Myers will conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m. today at Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle, 701 S. Main St., Edinburgh. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to service time today at the church. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Sawyer-Pickett and Fletcher Funeral Home in North Vernon is handling arrangements.
