Trevor J. "Short" Goldsmith B-H-41-8
Trevor J. "Short" Goldsmith, 19, of Flat Rock, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010, from a car accident on State Road 252 in Shelby County. He was born Dec. 27, 1990, in Johnson County, to James R. and Brein (Goldsmith) Shannon; they lovingly survive in Flat Rock. He was a graduate of Southwestern (Shelby) High School and attended Flat Rock Christian Church. He loved to read and enjoyed video gaming. Other survivors include his sister, Addie Shannon of Flat Rock; his grandparents, Dale and Daryl Goldsmith of Edinburgh, Jim and Pam Shannon of Flat Rock and Brenda Shannon of St. Paul; and a great-grandmother, Margaret Fernandez of Beech Grove. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Charles and Addie Goldsmith, Robert Tearman and Thelma Shannon. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
