Jeffrey C. Gooden, 53, of North Vernon, died at 8:46 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh with Pastor Larry F. Rowe officiating. Arrangements were made by Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street. Mr. Gooden is survived by his mother, JoAnn Peck Gooden of Columbus, Ohio; and a sister, LaVerne Gooden of North Vernon. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie M. Gooden.
