Phyllis E. Reese M-A-86-1

Phyllis E. Reese 88, of Beech Grove, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010. She was born August 12, 1921 in Indianapolis, daughter of the late Benjamin and Pearl Whitlock. She was a member of Rosedale Hills United Methodist Church and Beech Grove Chapter #465 Order of the Eastern Star. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jack Reese, Councillor Susie (Harold) Day, and Roger (Lisa) Reese; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Reese; sons, Rick and Ned Reese; brothers, Don, Stanton, and Adolph Whitlock. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18 at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 19 at the funeral home.
