Robert A. Simpson, 54, of Edinburgh, died at 12:14 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. M r. Simpson was born May 15, 1955, in Franklin , the son of Henry Hensley and Hattie Joyce (Burton) Simpson. He was a graduate of Edinburgh High School and a former production worker for Alma Plastics. He was a member of the Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Mr. Simpson is survived by aunts, Sue DeBell of Edinburgh and Betty Coffey of Columbia, Ky.; his caregiver, Rosemary Lewis of Edinburgh; and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Who So Ever Will Community Church with the Revs. Lewis Burton and Ralph Foster officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until service time on Monday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Edinburgh Youth Center, Inc. Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home.
