Loweta Wilson, 88, of Edinburgh, died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Homeview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Franklin. Mrs. Wilson was former owner and operator of area restaurants and former co-owner of the Curly Dog, Walt’s Grill, Hole in the Wall and Nip & Sip. She also was a former hostess at the Holiday Inn. She was a former member of First Christian Church, the Moose Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary, all in Edinburgh, and enjoyed supporting Moose Haven and Boys’ Town. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Born in Pauls Valley, Okla., Aug. 10, 1922, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of Isaac H. and Lydia R. Johnson Sage. Survivors include a son, Chuck (Jan) Fulford of Columbus; a daughter-in-law, Judy Holland of Edinburgh; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Carl Holland, Walter B. Fulford and Raymond Wilson; a son, Carl Orville Holland; a stepdaughter, Janie Fulford Hall; brothers, Oral and Willis Sage; sisters, Allene Keneipp and Toni Myers; and grandsons, Mark Anthony Holland and Sidney Holland.
