Eldon Berridge B-D-132-4

Eldon R. Berridge 95, Indianapolis, was born in Hanna, IN, the son of Edgar and Jessie Berridge. He married Ruby Cramer in 1938, the singular most important event in his life. They are the parents of Jeanne (Robert) Olson and Nancy (Richard) Holloway; and grandparents of Bryan (Amy), Janis and Andrew (Christy) Jerman and Leslie (Joe) Leffel, Susan (Joe) Strattman and James (Janis) Holloway; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Agnes Kaiser, Harriet Murtaugh, James Berridge and Ruth Hawn. Mr. Berridge joined Indiana Bell Telephone Co., now AT&T, as an installer's helper in 1935 and retired from a management position in 1974. He owned several small electrical companies over the years having designed and installed sound systems for Victory Field and paging systems for Methodist Hospital. Service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20 at Southport United Methodist Church, 1947 E. Southport Road, with visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.
