Josephine Calhoun, 83, died Friday, March 6, 2009. She was a resident of Edinburgh. Survivors include her husband, Nile Glenn Calhoun; a daughter, Yvonne Walker of Edinburgh; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Rettie (Grider) Allison; and a son, Robert Allison. The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a graveside service at 4 p.m. today at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh handled arrangements.
