David E. Caudill, 44, of Edinburgh died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Caudill had been a repair technician at Endress & Hauser Inc. in Greenwood the past 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, radio-controlled cars and his children and grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 11:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to Volunteers in Medicine, 836 Jackson St., Columbus, IN 47201. Born in Columbus Oct. 24, 1964, Mr. Caudill was the son of Albert E. and Bonnie Dunaway Caudill. He married Beth A. Thompson Jan. 1, 1987. Survivors include his mother, of Edinburgh; his wife; daughters, Brandi (Thomas) Taylor of Franklin and Alyssa Caudill of Edinburgh; sisters, Carolyn (Robert) Kelley of Columbus and Shirley (David) Belcher of Biloxi, Miss.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
