Wilma J. "Jean" (Anderson) Grimm, 79, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Franklin United Methodist Community. She was a resident of Franklin. She was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Bartholomew County to Floyd B. Anderson and Irene (Thompson) Anderson. Survivors include six children, Phyllis (Robert) Lewis of New Whiteland and Dianne (Joe) Pfennig, Mary Jo (Marshall) Reed, Connie Sue (Harold) Grider, Barbara Jean (Doug) Whetstine and Tommy (Debbie) Compton, all of Franklin; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marvin Dale (Tude) Anderson. She was preceded in passing by her parents and Eric Grimm. She attended Jackson County schools. She was a homemaker and retired from Specialty Connectors in Franklin in 1988. She was baptized into the Christian faith at First Southern Baptist Church in New Whiteland on April 19, 1982. She attended SS. Peter & Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus for many years and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Franklin. She enjoyed Indiana University basketball and NASCAR racing. The Rev. Jonathan Vierkant will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Monday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
