Frank D. Dennis, 83, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Franklin United Methodist Community. He was a resident of Franklin. He was born on November 5, 1932 in Lagrange County, IN to Lloyd and Grace (Bovine) Dennis. He married Milgie Howard on March 25, 1955. She lovingly survives. Other survivors include his children Jeffery Dennis of Mankato, Minnesota; Kenneth Dennis of Rock Island, IL, Tammy Good of Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and brother George Jackson of Walterboro, SC. He was preceded in passing by his parents; sisters Edna Kunkel and Nora Clark and brother, Billy Parr. Frank graduated from Garrett High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Frank retired after twenty-eight years of dedicated service from J.I. Case Company. He later retired after ten years from Kroger. He was a member of the Franklin Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Max Downs will conduct a celebration of Frank’s life on Monday, September 19th at 9:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call on Sunday, September 18th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana. Military Honors will be held.
