Robert Wesley Myers, 53, of Columbus, died at 2:36 p.m. November 8, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Robert was born April 20, 1963, in Columbus, the son of James L. and Linda K. Bozell Myers. Robbie was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of six. He was a lifelong member of the Apostolic Tabernacle of Edinburgh. He ran his own business for several years working in concrete construction. Robbie was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed for his pleasant personality. Survivors include his father, James L. Myers of Columbus; mother and stepfather, Linda and Don Clay of Columbus; sons, Brandon Myers of Columbus, Jeff Myers and Derek (Karen Smiar) Myers, both of Nineveh; brothers, James E. (Chassity) Myers of Columbus, Jack A. (Lisa) Myers of Greensburg, Don Clay Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jeff Burton of Columbus; sisters, Jessica Myers of Brown County, Nancy Hacker of Martinsville and Neciah Myers of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Christina Myers and Deborah Myers; and grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Grover and Louise Myers, Ernest and Mary Bozell and Winifred White.
