Ellis C. Kerns M-H-40-3

Ellis C. Kerns, 70 of Columbus, IN, passed away on January 18, 2017 at Columbus Regional Hospital.   He was born on May 21, 1946 in Buckhannon, WV.  He was the son of Ray and Betsy (Dulaney) Kerns.  He married Verna (Swope) Kerns. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Marie Deweerdt of Nineveh, IN, a sister, Cora Smalley of Kensington, OH, and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside service will be conducted by Reverend Jeff Johnson at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN. Memorials may be made to Gideons International.
