Wendill D. Allen B-M-30-1

Wendill D. Allen, 65 of Edinburgh, IN, passed away on July 13, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on December 21, 1951 in Liberty, KY.  He was the son of David E. and Lola E. (Burton) Allen.  He married Margaret C. (Vaske) Allen. He is survived by his wife, sons, William Allen of Edinburgh, IN and Kevin (Renee) Allen of Sanford, ME, a daughter, Pamela S. King of Edinburgh, IN, a sister, Judy C. (Brian) Prather of Edinburgh, IN, a sister-in-law, Sara Allen of Edinburgh, IN and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kermit J. Allen. He was a 1971 graduate of Courter Teck High School in Cincinnati, OH and retired from Rumpke as a truck driver in 2016 after 27 years.  He was a member of the St. Louis Crossing Baptist Church. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 by Reverend Michael Mullenix at Grace Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, IN.  Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday at the church and from 11:00 AM until time of service Tuesday.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, IN.
