William "Bill" Burton, 55, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at his residence in Edinburgh. Survivors include his wife, Brenda J. (Streeval) Burton; a son, Shannon Crawhorn of Florida; two stepsons, Troy Ridpath of Edinburgh and David Williams of Columbus; a stepdaughter, Lisa McGaha of Edinburgh; a sister, Teresa Burton of Edinburgh; nine stepgrandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell L. and Violet (Bailey) Burton; a brother, Daniel Burton; and three sisters, Brenda Owens, Yolanda Burton and Diana Lou Burton. The Rev. Mark Myers will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
