Perry A. Hicks, 84, of Edinburgh, died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 8:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Mr. Hicks is survived by sons, Marty (Betty) Harper and Noel (Bonnie) Harper, both of Edinburgh; daughters, Sherry Parrott of Franklin, Janetta Harper of Indianapolis, Kathy Hicks of Franklin and Charlotte Thompson of McMinnville, Tenn.; stepsons, Darrell (Pam) Brazee of Campbellsville, Ky., Ethan (Malinda) Bailey and Harvey (Susan) Bailey, both of Edinburgh; stepdaughters, Lisa (Terry) Pace of Canton, Ill., and Allison (George) Nolan of Edinburgh; brothers, Carl (Ilene) Hicks of Liberty, Ky., and Shelby (Charlotte) Hicks of Blue Ash, Ohio; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay L. Hitchcock Hicks; a son, Terry Hicks; and a stepson, Johnny Bailey.
