James Frederick Warder M-A-109-3

James Frederick Warder, 74, of Mount Auburn, IN, died June 13, 2012, with his family by his side. Born February 15, 1938, in Johnson County, he was the son of Jack & Carrie (Redmond) Warder, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded by brothers, Billie & Jack Warder. Survivors include his wife, Tottie (Reed) Warder, Mount Auburn; daughter, Alicia (Bob) Knecht, Shelbyville; grandchildren, Taylor & Hailey Knecht, Shelbyville; sisters-in-law, Dottie (Reed) Hughes & Rose (Williams) Warder; and several nieces and nephews. A lifelong resident of Shelby County, James graduated from Mount Auburn High School in 1956. He retired after 40 years of service from Cummins Engine Co., Columbus, IN. He also enjoyed helping area farmers in his spare time. He also enjoyed going to Nebraska to hunt pheasants with his wife & friends. He was in the Air Force Reserves. He loved going to sprint car races & watching NASCAR; spending time with his grandchildren & going to all of their sporting events; going to the movies with his wife & daughter. James & Tottie would have been married 50 years on September 2, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, IN.
