April R. Bartlett, 52 formerly of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away December 28, 2019 at IU Health in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born May 5, 1967 in Franklin, Indiana. She was the daughter of William R. and Elsie Mae (Preston) Bartlett.

She is survived by her daughter, Savannah Brook Haley Ryan of Bedford, Indiana, son, Bryce Michael London Ryan of Michigan, one grandchild, sisters, Raejean (Cliff) Henry of Edinburgh, Indiana and Rhonda M. (David) Ryan of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and half -brothers, Rupert Dale (Dorothy) Barnett of North Vernon, Indiana and James Anthony “Tony” (Bev) Barnett of Columbus, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Charles and Edna (Rhoades) Bartlett and James and Sarah (Blanton) Preston.

April was a 1985 graduate of Edinburgh High School. She attended the Edinburgh United Methodist Church and formally worked at the Jay-C store in Edinburgh.

A graveside service will conducted by Pastor Jason Hyer at 1:00 p.m. on March 21, 2020 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana. The family will receive friends following the service at Edinburgh United Methodist Church at 107 W. Campbell Street until 4:00 p.m.
