Rebecca Pearl "Becky" Weber B-O-1-2

Rebecca P. "Becky" Weber, 88, of Edinburgh, died at 5:22 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. Mrs. Weber was a homemaker. She attended Edinburgh Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed quilting and mushroom hunting and loved visiting and talking to family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh with the Rev. Doug Wright officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Born in Edinburgh April 4, 1923, Mrs. Weber was the daughter of William Lucian and Gertrude (Burton) Burton. She married Samuel D. "Bud" Weber Oct. 26, 1940. He preceded her in death Feb. 14, 2008. Mrs. Weber is survived by sons, Earnest (Avelene) Weber of Columbia, Ky., and Steven (Brenda) Weber of Edinburgh; a daughter, Marjorie (Bill) White of Edinburgh; a brother, Lloyd "Jack" Burton of Edinburgh; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Dolph, Orville and Carl Burton; and sisters, Emma Smith and Dorothy Betz.
