Mary Elizabeth Coy

Mary Elizabeth Coy died January 30, 2022.  She was a resident of Trafalgar, Indiana.She was born October 1, 1935 in Selina, Tennessee to Floyd and Clara (Johnson) Ridge.  She married Donald Lee Coy on January 15, 1953.  He preceded her in death in 2006.Survivors include her loving son, Rick (Cindy) Coy of Trafalgar; two grandchildren, Joshua Coy of Trafalgar and Jessica (Lee) Albertson of Nineveh; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Rose Albertson of Nineveh; one sister, Barbara Yates of Whiteland; Jay Ridge of Franklin and Bob (Jeanette) Ridge of Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruth Coy and brothers, Ed and Tom Ridge.Mary attended school in Martinsville, Indiana.She worked as an OB Technician at Johnson Memorial Hospital and as a Telephone Operator for United Telephone.  She retired from Sprint.Mary enjoyed traveling to properties in Albany, Kentucky and Fort Myers, Florida with her husband Don.  She enjoyed singing with her family and was known for her yodeling.  She also enjoyed singing at Mount Carmel Church.Mary loved being with her family and friends.Rev. Denny Taylor will conduct a private family ceremony.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Carmel Christian Church in Trafalgar, Indiana.Expressions of caring and kindness may be received to the family at www.flinnmaguire.net
