Glenna Kay (Goodwin) Whetstine 70, died Saturday February 16, 2013 in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin. Glenna was born January 19, 1943 in Hope, Indiana to the late Thomas and Ruth (Hege) Goodwin. She married Maurice R. Whetstine on May 17, 1968 in Franklin, Indiana. Glenna enjoyed playing bingo, visiting the casino's, and spending time with her grandchildren. Glenna was employed at Greenwood Village South in Greenwood in the housekeeping department for 27 years, retiring in 1999. Survivors include her husband, Maurice Whetstine of Franklin, 4 children, Allena Marie Goodwin of Greenwood, Joe A. Whetstine, and Sam M. Whetstine both of Franklin and Kim Gault of Tennessee, one brother, Leon Hitchcock of Hope, 5 grandchildren, Holly Goodwin, Chloe Scott, Mercedes Whetstine, Nathaniel Whetstine and Zachary Whetstine, dear friend, Kathy Morris and a cousin Frank Broniszewski. She was preceeded in death by her parents and a stepfather, Allen Carter. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday February 19, 2013 at the Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, with visitation from 4:00pm until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
