Charles "Randy" Randall Lawson Badger-A-100-3

Charles Randall “Randy” Lawson, 67, of Franklin, passed away at home view Health & Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, April 26, 2025. He was born October 22, 1957, in Franklin to the late Clifford and Delphia (Harris) Lawson. He married the love of his life, Cynthia “Cindi” (Cecil) Lawson on February 14, 1987, she preceded him in passing on April 30th, 2022. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie LeAnn (Jacob) Cochran, and grandchildren, Maddi, Phoenix and Kamden Cochran; siblings, Clifford “Ray” (Ruthie) Lawson and Rhoda Burton; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Randy was preceded in passing by his parents; wife; sister, Rosemary “Rosie” Lawson and brother-in-law, Jerry Burton. Randy attended Edinburgh schools. He began his concrete career with his brother, Ray, at Blackwell Construction and continued at Milestone Contractors until his brain aneurysm in April of 1998. Randy loved his family, racing, Bobby Knight, IU Basketball and his trips to Daytona with Mark Hunter. He was a devoted son, husband, dad, papaw, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Visitation will be Monday May 5th, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the service at 1:00 P.M. at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street in Franklin. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Home view Health & Rehabilitation Center as well as to his roommate, Bob Kaylor, who became a very special friend. In honor of Randy and his love for IU, please feel free to wear your IU and/or red and white apparel. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, May 5th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin, Indiana 46131 with visitation on Monday from11:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
