James H. Estes, age 75, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Home. He was born on Friday, August 11, 1950, in Horse Cave, Kentucky. He was the son of Francis L. Nichols Estes, who has preceded him in death and Norman Estes, who has preceded him in death. Survivors also include:1 Daughter: Dana R. Watson, spouse Vergeast, of Goose Creek SC. 3 Sons: Rodney D. Estes, of Shelbyville IN. Brandon J. Estes, of Indianapolis IN. Jimmy L. Estes, spouse Amie, of Indianapolis IN.1 Sister: Donna Adams, of Edinburgh IN3 Brothers: Gary N. Estes, of Edinburgh IN Allen D. Estes, of Edinburgh IN Bryan K. Estes, of Edinburgh IN. He is survived by host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a special friend Joy Hudson of Jamestown, KY. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Bobby H. Estes and a brother, Larry Estes. He was a retired boiler operator at Fruit of the Loom and a member of the Caretakers Riding Club. Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday, August 27 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be 12 NOON Wednesday, August 27 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Edinburgh, IN. at 3 PM Eastern Time on Thursday, August 28, 2025.Officiating:Bro. Carter Stewart Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
