Danny D. Bryant, 82 of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. He was born in Columbia, Kentucky to the late Lucian Bryant and Ina (Kimbler) Hadley on December 5, 1942. Danny is survived by daughters, Dawn Smith (Larry) of Carmel, Indiana and Diane Dagner (Woody) of Greenwood; granddaughter, Hannah McGrail (Kevin) of Fairborn, Ohio; sister, Shirley Layson and brothers, Ted Bryant, John Bryant, Randy Bryant and Robert Hadley. He was preceded in passing by his parents and sisters Joyce Bryant and Gay Purdy. He was a 1960 graduate of Edinburgh High School. He was employed by Reliance Electric, now Rockwell Automation in Columbus, Indiana, retiring after many years of service. Danny was a lifetime member of the Double Y Saddle Club. He enjoyed horseback riding, horse racing and was an avid sports fan, especially the Cincinnati Reds and I.U. Basketball. He took great pride in his garden and yard. He never met a stranger. Every person in the world to him was just a friend he hadn’t met yet. A Celebration of Danny’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 28th at 6:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with Visitation on Tuesday, January 28th from 2:00 p.m. to time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
